This starts to start up, but hangs on a line about nouveau (can't remember the correct name) and stops. While booting from hdd, pressing left-shift to get the GRUB menu, then selecting "compatibility mode".
I have looked around the forums for solutions, but the ones I found don't seem to work for me. Or rather, I can see from the HDD activity that it IS booting up, but I keep seeing a black screen. While the install went well, I can't seem to boot up from my hard drive now. I have installed Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon on my hard drive.
